Chicago Cougars Defenseman and F.A.S.T. athlete Sam Mudd has made his college commitment to NCAA D3 St. Olaf College!
Mudd joined the Cougars and F.A.S.T. family in January halfway through the hockey season and had a quick impact on the team from day 1. Finishing as USPHL League Defenseman of the Month in January and USPHL Premier Midwest All-Conference first team Defenseman despite only playing in about 30% of the team's games this season.
Mudd ranked in the top 5 overall in Points/Game and #1 among Defensemen in that category across all 51 USPHL Premier teams nationwide! The Ballwin native was simply one of the best offensive Defensemen in the league this season and made his mark on the program in his short time with us.
